A script to edit data in the payor “effective date” field did not run properly. The team quickly realized there was an issue and started efforts to recover the data.

We have a deep commitment to the integrity of your data and there not being any interruptions to credentialing activities. We are also committed to providing transparency in our continuous improvement activities so that you know the efforts we are taking to avoid this in the future. Modio will be de-briefing across multiple teams to fully assess the impact of this situation internally and externally to harden our process and ensure that the initiating event isn’t replicated in the future. Additionally, while Modio has very robust backup and recovery plans, which were utilized during this event, we recognize that we were not able to perform the restoration process as quickly as we anticipated due to processing limitations.
