V2 Updates:

Externally Sourced License Data: Earlier this year, we created a new default status called “Not Updated” for licenses you would manually add to the platform. We’ve now extended this default to apply to licenses brought in via LexisNexis-informed provider add and the FSMB Lookup tool. The “Not Updated” status is now used instead of the status from the third-party source, which was not verified by Carbon yet and could be misleading. This status will appear on your licenses until they are run through Carbon to return a current status from a primary source. 

Placeholder Text Fields: Previously, V2 fields without any data in them would appear with placeholder text, used to help you understand what data types and formats to enter. However, we received feedback that placeholders made it difficult to quickly tell what data was real or not. We’ve now removed placeholder text throughout the majority of V2. The only areas where you may still see placeholders are fields with specific formats, such as phone numbers, date fields, and search boxes.

Multi-Select Filters: We’ve added a great enhancement to V2 grids that contain both Title and Primary Specialty columns. In these grids, you can now use multi-select filtering! Multiple values can be manually selected, or you can select from an optgroup, such as all titles under the Nursing header.

Side Drawer and Detail View: We’ve updated the relationship between these tools so that you can now open Detail View without the Side Drawer automatically opening. However, when you click on the Notes/Tags/Documents icon in the Actions column to open the Side Drawer, it will also open Detail View for that record so you can see all the additional fields. You can click on the caret to the left of the provider’s name to close both the Side Drawer and Detail View, or the caret to the left of the Side Drawer to close just the drawer. 

Show in Practice/Employer and Work History: You can now edit the “List this Practice/Employer in” field in V2. This allows you to move facility records between the two sections, or choose to display records in both places.
